The very first Elemental
Today, I’m sharing with you the very first Enchanted Elementals who emerged on paper. This was a crucial moment in my life and at the time I had no idea what was to come. It was summer of 2004.
One evening, I placed my pencil on the paper and began to draw an eye. After a bit of time I had this face staring back at me. I was shocked. I found myself asking her “Who are you?” Next thing I know, I’m writing a name at the top of the page. Isis. I just sat there, stunned. I had no idea who Isis was or why I drew this face on that night.
I was so excited that I turned the page and began another drawing. The same thing happened. After a bit of time, a face was staring back at me. Again, I asked her to tell me who she was. I wrote her name at the top of the page. Ionca. I sat there completely confused and enthralled at the same time.

I’m sharing this story because a few days ago I realized how important these first two elementals are to me and to the development of my career. A few days ago, as I sat wondering what on earth am I going to do with the Enchanted Elementals, it occured to me that I needed to ask the ones who initially appeared to me so many years ago. All this time, the premise behind the Elementals is to ask them to hold space for you to amplify your inner voice, your intuition, to find the answers you are seeking, and I wasn’t playing along.
Well, I’m playing now. I excuvated them from the book they’ve been sitting in, waiting for me, to finally remember. They’re hanging in my office nwe staring back at me, reminding me of the work I’m here to do. I want to say thank you, to Isis and Ionca for their patience, love and inspiration.

I’m working on a new series of Elementals based on Astrology. I love astrology and how it can provide a road map of energetic awareness to help us navigate our daily life. No, I’m not talking about the daily astrology updates you can find in the paper, I’m talking about specific charts based on specific questions. So, I thought what a great way to combine two loves in to one. Here is a preview of the second Elemental created in the series.
Devra - Energy of Scorpio
Her name is Devra and she represents the energy of Scorpio.
Scorpio’s key phrase is “I desire”. Scorpio’s energy is represented as mystery, intensity, magnestism, therapist, investigator and agent of change.

Nine of us were just put on display at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts on Monday, October 12th. We’ll be there until January 8th, 2010.
We are so excited that we are out in the public eye for the very first time! We’re all dressed up in beautiful metallic frames. It’s also the first time we are labeled for sale. If you get a chance come see us.

One of my coworker friends (yes, I have a regular job too!) is getting ready to go in to surgery this Friday. It’s a pretty big deal for her and she will finally have some relief from her sinus issues once and for all.
She loves the Enchanted Elementals and is always so excited to see the new one’s I bring in for her to look at. She hinted around a bit that she’d like to have her own custom-made Enchanted Elemental some day.
So, her Elemental arrived a few days ago. I haven’t shared an Elemental on the blog when they are for individual people. This is the first one and you may see more.
This is Heala and she was created specifically to help her human companion heal from her surgery. I’m sure that she’ll provide healing energy for my friend long after the surgery. I felt compelled to share her because she might help you too.

A few days ago a new Elemental appeared that has one specific energy about her. Change. Have you noticed how things have been changing, not only in the World at large but also within yourself?

The Enchanted Elementals had their first “public” debut on Monday, August 24th at the Storm Wisdom Summer Sampler. I gave free five minute readings to people using the new deck I recently created . The deck consists of 54 Elementals and each one is labeled with its name. It was a HUGE success. Every person who sat down with me and experienced the Enchanted Elementals for the first time left with a big smile. Each person who sat with me not only received insight into a question they asked but they also got to keep the card they pulled from the deck.
